Hi All, Finally after 3 years of hard slogging I finally got my 20 years
experiences of Brassia species made into a CD. In that time I experienced a
virus and something that wiped out all of my best pictures; yes I though that
I had them backed up, but they just were not there when I started up the
computer one morning.
This is an interactive CD of Brassias /Ada and covers most of the species, but
by no means all. It is not intended to be a technical work but a personal
experience of trying to find out which species are which, started as soon as I
found out there is not much written about them. The CD is in the form of basic
text and photographs. It also has a Culture section, and my greenhouse. Above
the text are photos of plant and inflorescences that enlarge to full page. At
the bottom are photos of single flowers that expand larger to show their
identifying points. None of this could have happened without the help of my
mentor Dr. Eric Christenson, to whom I am greatly thankful.
