Cygon is especially damaging, but there are probably others. If it's not an insecticide, give the plant one more chance. If it does that again, throw it out. Thank you Iris. I did powder my orchids with Orthene this past summer, and perhaps that is the basis for the malformation. As far as discarding, it's too pretty, and the fragrance to intoxicating to consider that.
