Forty-one gardeners keep the 6-acre garden tidy...

Recent addition to the garden is an orchid cultivation centre with around 
47 rare tropical species including local and imported from Malaysia.

The orchid collection, in three greenhouses, has the largest number of 
species in the country. The authorities have appointed one professional 
garden adviser from Thailand for taking care of the collection.

The species include varieties of Dendrobium, Mokara, Aranthera, Vanda, 
Cattil[e]ya..."
