I was recently speaking at the Susquehanna OS, and in one of their little "culture corner"-type segments, Steve Male (Fishing Creek Orchids) had some tips on this class of orchids, stating that higher humidity levels seemed to be the way to keep them plump during the dry rest period. When growing in a drier environment, like the windowsill of a home, a very slight watering was recommended.
