What happens if you project the slide onto a screen and take a digital photo of the projected slide. I have read that you should not take a digital photo of a computer screen but I do not know why and if taking a photo of a projected slide would also be contraindicate. Perhaps somebody on the list can offer a reason why? If there are no contraindications I would be interested to hear the results you get Jim. Further some scanners are able to scan photographic slides. I have a Genius scanner that can do this but cannot give you the model offhand. It may be cheaper for you to buy one that can do this rather than pay the money to photolab.
