Hi Ogd's I am working on the genus Pterichis for IOSPE www.orchidspecies.com and am in need of descriptions and or drawings of the following species Pterichis acuminata Schltr., Repert. Spec. Nov. Regni Veg. Beih. 7: 56 (1920 Pterichis colombiana G.Morales, Orquideologia 16: 72 (1986 Pterichis fernandezii G.Morales, Orquideologia 16: 74 (1986 Pterichis habenariodes (F.Lehm. & Kraenzl.) Schltr., Repert. Spec. Nov. Regni Veg. Beih. 7: 214 (1920). Pterichis multiflora (Lindl.) Schltr., Bot. Jahrb. Syst. 45: 389 (1911 Scans would be fantastic. I have photos of 2 of thes4e and am trying to figure out which ones they may be. They are visible on IOSPE as #2 Pterichis sp southern Colombia and #3 Pterichis sp southern Colombia. I am fast approaching 8200 species and have added a ton of new information on Venezuelan orchids as I was able to obtain a copy of Dunsterville & Garay's Venezuelan Orchids Illustrated 1966- 1972 and Foldats Flora de Venezuela 1969 - 1970. I am off on an orchid adventure to Colombia in mid may, I will be visiting Boyaca, Santander and el Norte de Santander states so expect a lot of new in situ orchid photos soon Jay Pfahl
