- the place is Quebec City ; - the name of the bookstore is Librairie Pantoute (librairie is the French word for bookstore / Pantoute (pas du tout) means 'not at all' (smile...) : in fact, the bookstore offers several hundred titles on orchids for sale, both recent and out-of-print books ; - the name of the web site (orchidsbooks.com) has an 's', because, I presume, the name 'orchidbook' was already taken by Orchid Press, a Thai book publisher, when the Librairie Pantoute's web site was created ; - the Canadian dollar has been fluctuating slightly above and below the US dollar, in the last few months [6 June 2008, 1 Candian dollar was valued at 0.98 USD] ; - I do not know Mrs Pothier.
