I had put in an inquiry to the WOC offices on behalf of a number of the members of my local orchid society here in Florida. We wanted to know whether we could make a group order for the Proceedings and what quantity would afford us a price break. The lady I spoke to advised me that she would present my request the the next WOC Trustees meeting and get back to me with their decision.
I then left on a vacation out of the country and was gone three month. When I returned, I phoned (this past week) and left a message and the same person then phoned back the next day to advise me that the decision by the trustees was that no group discounts would be offered and that each book would be priced, boxed, and sent individually, no matter how many were ordered, even to the same customer/address. She also advised me -and this, more to the point of the original OGDer's query- that they were currently wrapping up collecting and organizing the papers that would be included in the Proceedings and expected that first copies to begin being sent out around the first week of September.
