Can anyone enlighten me as to who is the Joan Hart that Cymbidium Joan Hart was
named for? I have a lifelong friend whose maiden name was Peggy Joan Hart. Her
husband asked me to find a Cym. Joan Hart for her birthday. When she got it,
she was curious about its namesake. I'd like to get the information for her, if
anyone can tell me.
I'd also like to invite any of you who might be in the South Louisiana area
next weekend to come to the Baton Rouge Orchid Society's annual show and sale.
The dates are Saturday and Sunday, July 12 and 13 at the Garden Center, 7950
Independence Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA. Hours are 9 to 5 on Saturday and 10 to 4
on Sunday. Admission is free.
