I have read couple of articles and papers that mention declining population Dactylorhiza found in Western Himalayas including Nepal. It is mainly due to illegal collection of tubers to be used in local and exotic medicine. I am trying to find out the quantity of tubers that are exported or sold in local market legally or illegally. Anyone with estimate or idea in this regard?
