I contacted the grower from whom I got some, and received this response:
"Gee, you are the 2nd inquiry on the subject this morning!!!! Unregistered
out of Thailand..good luck!!! We found this plant at a commercial farm in
Thailand years ago, cloned it & when the gentleman that we got the plant
from visited us years later & saw it in production he was clamoring for
some clippers so he could lop off a couple tops to take back to Thailand. We
have grown it twice & it is a wonderful hearty vanda, but we have no idea of
it's parents."

Perhaps it is a pending registration, so iIf there is a way to contact
the hybrids registrar they might be able to solve your riddle.
Or if the hybridizer can be determined that could be a route to explore.
