This is obviously one of those pernicious trade names that will never be
registered. It is fine for the mass public who just want a pretty plant, but
those
who like to participate in orchid shows need to be alert. In our club, we
welcome these plants as part of an exhibit, but we exclude them from ribbon
judging.
A dog from the SPCA may make a very nice pet, but don't try to enter him in
an AKC sanctioned dog show.
