*On Saturday 8th February ORG are holding a local group training day at The Friend’s Meeting House in Manchester, so I just wanted to send out a quick email to see whether you’d be interested in attending.It should hopefully be a really useful day, as we’ll be getting together local group members from all over the country to share experiences on local campaigning.We’ll also be providing a number of workshops on how to improve your local group work including:-Website training on how best to use your local group site and social media accounts.-An events and promotion workshop on how to organise successful local group events.-Media training including how to write press releases and letters to local newspapers.* *-Separate workshops for campaigning in Scotland, Wales and England.* *-A workshop on campaigning, working with local MPs and how to support ORG’s national campaigns.Attendance for the day will be arranged by reservation so if you could let me know whether you’re interested in a reply to this email, I’d really appreciate it.Cheers,Olivia* -- *Olivia JardineCampaigns InternOpen Rights Group*
