Here in Ottawa we use mailchimp. It seems to work pretty well. However, I don't like how the format is so constricted. For instance, you can't make it look like a regular text email ---> it has to remain in the 'newsletter' looking format. I'm not a huge fan as this makes our organization look more like a business than a community of volunteers working together.
