Hi, Yes, I tried it with 1.6.3. I think the problem is somehow related to inheritance. I used the test case that I provided and you can reproduce it with it.
Your example is not consistent with my testcase, I think. You would have to create a vertex B and derive it from A. Insert vales in A and B and you should get similar results...
