I have the same problem with 1.7 snapshot, I get:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:
com.orientechnologies.orient.core.index.OIndexManagerProxy.createIndex(Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/lang/String;Lcom/orientechnologies/orient/core/index/OIndexDefinition;[ILcom/orientechnologies/common/listener/OProgressListener;)Lcom/orientechnologies/orient/core/index/OIndex;
when I use orientGraph.createIndex("nodeId", OrientVertex.class);
My pom.xml file is like this:
