Thanks very much for your response!

All-in-all this is excellent news.

   - I have analytics folks on staff who are familiar with SQL and will be
resistant to either abstract access to the data (which might be too
restricting) or learning a new query language. It is only in this sense
and for establishing the initial OrientDB class hierarchy and cluster
arrangements that I would want to "step outside" of tinkerpop.
   - My concern with Frames is the potential for future disconnects between
POJOs and database structure (and maybe performance as well? -- I'm looking
at inserting something on the order of 75,000 records per second)
   - Having no dependency on Rexster is also pleasing to hear as I don't
find it terribly likely that we'll be swapping out database technologies
once we get the ball rolling. On the other hand, being able to add useful
   extensions would be a plus.

All of this helps tremendously!

Thanks again!

Jon

PS I used to be in the DC area and would have been intrigued to hear more,
but I relocated to New Orleans a few years ago :)
