Hi guys, I am experiencing this problem using OrientDB 1.7-rc2-SNAPSHOT.
1) Connect to a database from Studio (I have tested it on GratefulDeadConcerts DB) 2) Click on Schema -> + New Class (let's name it Test) 3) Click on Test on the Schema table 4) Select + New Property (name ID, type STRING) 5) Click on Save The New Property dialog does not disappear. The database becomes unusable (try to connect from console) for a while. After 10 minutes I see the following SEVERE message in the server log: com.orientechnologies.common.concur.OTimeoutException: Timeout on acquiring exclusive lock against resource of class: class com.orientechnologies.common.concur.resource.OSharedResourceAdaptiveExternal with timeout=600000 [ONetworkProtocolHttpDb] The create property command from console works as expected.
