Hi,
1.7-rc2 is the last RC, the next one will be 1.7 and it's planned in a
couple of weeks (but we should re-check the pending issues).

1.7-rc2 is designed to be retro-compatible with previous release, so you
should only drop the new jars in the classpath and OrientDB should be able
to open the database created with past versions.
