Hi Luca Hey guys I dont know if any one else has had similar issues as I have been.with bulk import from multiple data sources
Before I explain my suggestion, abit of my background into my problem. I did a database dump and tried to import the sql dump with a few modifications to orientdb (v 1.6). went well up to a point before the import started breaking. So I had to go the sql file and fit it to how the import would work. There is still alot of manual processes in the import structure. (Something I belived that can be automated) The FIX (My Suggestion/Idea) We have a centralized driver/plugin for import. I got the idea with having worked with elasticsearch and used its elasticriver driver. The driver that allows it to fetch data from jdbc sources and lately also a twitter stream. Im trying to see how I can take that structure and create something similar for orientdb. Its my shot in the dark but I im trying to see if its crazy enough to work.
