A friend asked me why I'm not using *D2RQ *as Mapping tool.

Here is a tutorial, kind of the first steps. http://d2rq.org/dump-rdf

Due I'm still looking for good solution to get all the MySQL data to
OrientDB, I'm thinking about using it.
So my question is: is that useful and can I use the rdf, ttl or whatever is
coming out there to replace a database? If yes, has someone already tried
it out and could give some instructions.

As explaination. As far as I have understood it:

   1. D2RQ is getting a mapping from you
   2. now it transforms the MySQL data into rdfw
   3. writing it into a rdf file

Is that correct?
