Hi Studio is an external plugin but depends on OrientDb server. You cannot start studio without a running server. You can donwload a Studio release zip format like here https://github.com/orientechnologies/orientdb-studio/releases/tag/1.7.8 and then you copy the zip under the plugins directory of the ORIENTDB_HOME
