Hi, I am using the Blueprints implementation of the graph database OrientDB to maintain my graph. The database is plocal and is located on a remote server. Snapshot 1.7.6 is used for all the referenced orientdb files.
Operations- >> Adding vertex and edges in the graph. >> Retrieving vertices from the graph based on some <key, value> pairs where those <key> are set as index using graph.createIndex(key,Vertex.class); >> Each vertex has around 30 key value pairs out of which 13 of them are indexed >> Querying is done by using the blueprint API, graph.query().has(key1,value1)....has(key2,value2).hasNot(key).vertices() Issues- >> Initially when the graph is empty, adding and querying is fast >> When the number of vertices in the graph cross the 1000 mark, adding of vertices and querying becomes very slow. >> Is there some configuration on the server which can speed up the process ?? I tried enabling the cache.level1 and cache.level2. >> Am I not using the query correctly ?? >> I am using the transactional graph instance of OrientGraph and I call graph.commit() after adding vertices and edges. Thank you in advance. Regards, Vaibhav -- --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OrientDB" group.
