Hi there,

We're doing a huge data import with the ETL. At the 150GB+ level, often
OrientDB hangs. When we restart it, it needs to reindex, and this takes
forever. Sometimes this seems to hang completely.

The DB is not used for anything else during the ETL import, aside from
testing. So if we don't have a WAL and crash, we can still import the lost
records from our old DB.

1. Can/should we disable the WAL?
I know that might compromise integrity. But I wanted to ask since sometimes
this helps speed wise.

2. Any way to stop this re-indexing after a crash? Maybe there's a setting
to maintain indexes more stringently, so that a crash in the middle of an
operation won't require a reindex? (Even if this slows things down, it's
better for us.)
