Hi, there are (at least) two ways of opening a database from within a java program that embeds an orientdb server: 1. ask the server for the DatabasePoolFactory, then use the factory to get a DatabasePool, from which a Document can be aquired 2. directly create a DatabasePool >From what I see I assume that there is no difference between these two ways, as the DatabasePoolFactory does nothing in addition, but just keeps the created DatabasePools in a HashMap. Is this correct? How does the database api "know" then that the server is embedded? Or is the api using a tcp/ip connection anyhow? Ciao Gregor
