Hi -- I am new to OrientDb and so far have enjoyed using it. However, I am
encountering numerous DB crashes. The most recent occurred when I attempted
to add a new property via the management console to a Vertex class. My DB
has approximately 21 million vertices for this type. Note that the last
log message (see below) does allude to the property I attempted to add,
'publicationDate'
Looking for insight into the problem... Anyone have ideas?
Version Info:
Studio version : 2.0
OrientDB version : 2.0.10
Last Log Entry before the crash:

Query 'select count(*) from Edition where *publicationDate*.type() not in
["STRING"] and *publicationDate* is not null' fetched more than 50000
records: to speed up the execution, create an index or change the query to
use an existent index [OProfiler]
