what is the exception you get when you try to drop the class?

have you also tried the Java API to drop the class?

have you tried exporting the database excluding the offending class ? you
may also be able to export the database, and manually edit the JSON export
file to delete the offending class (should not be too much effort since you
dont have any data for that class) in your favourite JSON editor and then
re-import it..
