While tinkering with pyorient (latest revision from GitHub) and OrientDB 2.0.12 recently, I noticed that creating edges via pyorient's binary protocol wrappers (i.e., for REQUEST_RECORD_CREATE) doesn't appear to actually connect the specified vertices with the created edge. I'm not sure if this is because I'm not passing the right content to the method or whether there is some fundamental limitation of the binary protocol. Does the protocol permit one to connect vertices via REQUEST_RECORD_CREATE?
