Hi guys,
WDYT about using Java8 for OrientDB 3.0 (end 2015-begin 2016)? These are
the main reasons:

(1) Oracle already "deprecated" Java7. Look at:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/eol-135779.html

"Auto-update Notice and End of Public Updates for Oracle JDK 7

As outlined in the Oracle JDK Support Roadmap
<http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/eol-135779.html#Java6-end-public-updates>,
after April 2015, Oracle will not post further updates of Java SE 7 to its
public download sites. Customers who need continued access to critical bug
fixes and security fixes as well as general maintenance for Java SE 7 or
older versions can get long term support through Oracle Java SE Support
<http://www.oracle.com/us/technologies/java/java-se-support-393643.html?ssSourceSiteId=otnen>.
The process of migrating users from Java 7 to Java 8 through the auto
update feature is expected to take place after the January 2015 CPU release
<http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/security/alerts-086861.html>."
(2) OrientDB 3.0 will support TinkerPop 3.0 that is based on Java8

(3) Java8 allows us to write better and more efficient code

So WDYT?
