I would argue that organizing all this upvotes workflow as you suggested as 
a bad life hack. What would help though - if somebody experienced would 
just provide a reasonable argument on SO, and despite downvotes by "gurus", 
developers will be able to make there own decision. Its better to have any 
opinion, even downvoted, than no info at all. 
And again, all this makes sense if SO benefits OrientDB promotion - and 
this is something still in question. For example, if I'm just starting with 
Orient, and will see only empty and/or sparse downvoted questions on SO I 
would doubt strong community support for this product = deal breaker for 
any business. In contrast, a tight focused Google Group brings some hopes 
that I'll still be able to find help here.
