Hi Sam, Thank you for asking, you give me a chance to discuss about this. .NET driver, like almost all our language-specific components except the Java driver, was initially developed and supported by independent contributors. As you can understand, for a company like OrientDB that provides Enterprise Services for large customers, it is critical to have support for all the main languages, so a few months ago we started to take in charge non-java drivers.
The first one was OrientJS, that now is our official Node.js driver, next one is .NET driver.
