These questions are about version 2.1. However, it would be nice to know the answer for version 2.2, if anything changed.
1. How does OrientDB detect and fix unaligned nodes? (Slide 20 on the presentation http://orientdb.com/docs/last/Distributed-Architecture.html ) - Since there is no universal order of operations, how do you know which node has the correct (latest) data? 2. How does OrientDB determine a consistent order of operations across nodes? 3. How do nodes learn about new configs? Is it possible to reach write quorum with responses from nodes with stale configs? 4. Is there only one owner per cluster at any time? - If no, then you can get conflicting RIDs - if yes, then how is the owner safely reassigned on failure? -- --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OrientDB" group.
