Yesterday, September 8th, there were two large events at the Peoria Civic Center. As part of WorldFest, our local folding group had a teaching table. We were swamped all day. At least 15 different ethnic groups had booths and performances, and the only coverage in the paper highlighted the Black Expo in the next exhibit hall. At least origami did make it in for the only picture used, showing my partial left hand shows, two boys, with all of us having folded origami pianos, from the house.
