I'm a regular visitor of Wired Magazine's website and an article about $1.00 dollar Kickstarter campaigns certainly seemed interesting. Among these low aimers I saw another origami project though there's no comparison with J.C. Nolan's sucessful campaign, Here's the text from Wired:
*It's not unusual to see tiny Kickstarters as hobby projects started by kids (with a little help from their parents). Xander's mom Erica Hampton and dad Mike Ambs helped him share his enthusiasm for origami with Kusudama<http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/EricaHampton/kusudama-decorative-origami-sphere>, seeking $20 to make decorative spheres.* You can see the article here http://www.wired.com/design/2012/10/least-ambitious-kickstarters/all/?pid=1085&viewall=true
