This afternoon on PBS show, Design Squad Nation, an origami dress was created. The finished dress is amazing (21:40), but the pleating of the fabric is interesting. (5:15) The premise of the show is some sort of race to create a dress for a photo shoot for Teen Vogue magazine, and they are are use engineering techniques. I have not seen part one, nor even all of part two, and was totally surprise to find out it was a 'kids' show!!
