After years of hearing about the Mingei Museum in San Diego,
California on this list, I finally got to pay a visit. My favorite
color is blue, so I felt very lucky to catch this show: TRUE BLUE
INDIGO, TURQUOISE, COBALT & LAPIS LAZULI.
It includes 2 small blue origami boxes by Tomoko Fuse and Florence Temko.
The whole museum was a treat. Try to go on a Family Day, so you can
satisfy the itch to make something. When I was there, there was a
table of wonderful blue papers to play with, so of course I left some
origami.
