Hi everyone, Mother's Day is just around the corner (*in most parts of the world), so perhaps you're thinking about how to show your love in an origami-inspired way. Despair not, here's a video that might come in handy!
Francis Ow designed a wonderful heart pendant and wittily called it "Love with Strings Attached". He generously allowed me to make video instructions for it, so here it is for you to enjoy: Photo: http://www.happyfolding.com/gallery-ow-necklace_pendant_love_with_strings_attached Video on happyfolding: http://www.happyfolding.com/instructions-ow-love_with_strings_attached Video on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lcMjO_Wzm0 To change things up, this video actually doesn't just show you how to fold the pendant, but also (in the end) demonstrates how to make a sliding knot, which you can use to make a necklace from a simple piece of string. That means you can make a complete necklace with a heart pendant by following along with this video - all you need is a square of paper, some string, and about ten minutes of your time. It's that simple to make a small present to brighten someone's day - be it your mother or anyone else close to you. :) Best wishes and happy folding, -- Sara
