I agree, they should have a visual index. Unfortunately most of the ebooks for 
origami on Kindle store are really just the paper books squashed into the 
Kindle format. So if the paper edition did not have a visual index, then the 
Kindle version does not either.

I am fairly certain that all of the ebooks by John Montroll on Kindle have a 
visual index. At least they did when I made the files that were delivered to 
Amazon :-)
