I'm working on the complete archive of David Lister's emails. Many are stored
in a proprietary AOL binary archive format, which (as far as I can tell) can
only be loaded and saved individually using the AOL message reader. Does anyone
know of software or scripts which could automate this process so they could be
converted to plain text using a batch file? There are too many to do "by hand"!

The BOS is intending to make a lot more of David's research available online,
but we need to organise it properly choose the best format for displaying and
searching (XML?). This will be a time-consuming process, so please be patient!
If anyone has expertise in this area, please get in touch privately.
