The arrow-loop diagramming symbol (turn over the paper) is useless, and in fact counter-productive, in Rokoan-style origami. There is just no convenient way to turn over a sheet that is connected by 4 corners to neighbors ... if you don't want to break a junction! This requires new folding sequences for some familiar models ... I'm calling this restriction "one-sided" origami.
Most tessellation work (after the precreasing) is "one-sided", but not all!
