The Origami Club of Pittsburgh (OCoP) will celebrate its 25th Anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 12 noon to 3 pm
At the Sq. Hill Carnegie Library (Children's Room). We couldn't celebrate in August (the actual birthday) because we were having a wonderful time at CenterFold in Ohio. There will be: Cupcakes and lemonade; folding giant origami; an origami display; a project for Pgh. Children's Hospital; and informal folding. We have been very fortunate to have the library's support for a quarter-century. We try to reciprocate by presenting at the Library's Summer Reading Club and for many years we did a holiday "Paper Magic" Tree. Another sign of the club's influence is: We now have clubs at two (of the 5) universities (CMU and Pitt). Please join us.if you are in the area. We meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month (and occasionally on Sunday for our Orthodox friends).
