Hi all, I was at the Ny convention in June and had the pleasure of taking a class with Oka in which he taught the Dahlia which was folded from a square. This was in addition to his teaching the blooming flower which was the main item of the class. Great class by the way !
After several attempts I just folded the Dahlia from a rectangle and in doing so was able to create the dahlia with a stem. i do not know if this has been done before. I have a picture and would like to know if there is a place to which I can post it and get comments on it. I know this isn't Robert Lang's violin player (WOW) but it is sort of my first origami "creation" so I am kind of excited about it. Thanks all for your indulgence Sam Levi
