When Michael's belongings were sorted and distributed after he died in 1995,
various parts of his origami collections were given to or accepted by a variety
of people. He had not made plans for most of these things as I expect he had
no intentions of dying. Some books went to the Donnell branch of New York
Public Library, some boxes of files and photos were accepted by OrigamiUSA and
I presume are in the archives there. Among other things, I kept a whole box of
videotapes, but never did catalog them. I knew that they included Michael
LaFosse videos, the Statue of Liberty video and recordings of a variety of
public appearances or TV shows when he was a guest.
I have no recollection of the video tape in question, but it would be no
surprise if there was one. When my wife Mara and I moved about five years ago,
I gave the box of tapes to our brother Don. I will ask him about the video.
