There are two meetings each month, for people who want to do paper-folding, in the Antelope Valley, Mojave Desert, California, USA.
Sat, 02 Nov: The next HiDEF (Hi-Desert Enthusiastic Folders) meeting will be held on ---> Saturday, 02 Nov, from 1-4pm, at the Lancaster Public Library. Tue, 05 Nov (see ***NOTE, below): The next RUFF (Rosamond Upbeat Folding Fanatics) meeting will be held on ---> Tuesday, 05 Nov, from 5-7pm, at the Rosamond Public Library. ----->> *** NOTE: The meetings at the Rosamond Library are hereby moved to the First *Tuesday* of each month, since the library is no longer open on Wednesdays. *** <<----- For the November meetings I will be prepared to teach something not-too-hard. It will be a surprise (to me, too!): ----- A Nice, Not-too-Hard Model, yet to be determined. ----- And as always, if someone else wants to teach something or has a model they want to fold, bring your stuff! Photos of the origamies we folded at these meetings, and information I have about them, can be found on my *new* blog page at: www.chilagami.wordpress.com ----- The old blog page at chilagami.blogspot.com has become unavailable to me due to some apparent confusion on the part of the Google software, between my new email address (which they seem to be trying to integrate with my long-unused Google+ account, which they won’t let me delete without deleting *all* my Google accounts, including the email and the blogspot; you can tell I’m furiously frustrated by this) and the old one. I can no longer access that blog page, except to view it. So, it’s there until someone at Google deletes it, I guess. In the meantime, I’ve set up an account to put the blog at Wordpress. So far, it isn’t much easier to figure out than Blogspot was (formatting seems to be unnecessarily difficult to figure out for some reason, on both of them), so the formatting is not what I wish, but hopefully I will have time to study up on it in the near future. ----- If anyone wants more info or directions to the library, just reply to my email address. .....
