Spoiler alert: Michael LaFosse. (Also Erik Demaine and me.)

The book is a wonderful read (even aside from the thrill of seeing one's
own name in print and the slight anxiety of "gee, I've forgotten what I
said, I hope I didn't say anything dumb"). We origami folk don't show up
until pretty far into the book, but I was hooked on the fascinating
stories and history well before.
