Hi, To bring my interests in origami and in history of medicine together, I'm compiling a list of folds that have been used in medicine and pharmacy, broadly understood, from any culture, any period.
I'd be grateful for all kinds of examples, no matter how simple, non-purist, impromptu, or commercial. If you devised something on the spot to help a patient, I'd like to know about it and, of course, credit you. I'd appreciate personal stories, historical references, diagrams, pictures.... Things that come to mind include: --packages for pills, powders, herbs, seeds --disposable items for patients --folded prescriptions, booklets, package inserts --bandages --distractions for children --paper cups --funnels --folds for storing medical supplies --trays Thanks!
