Folding Friends,

I am writing to appeal to you to support a Kickstarter campaign to raise
funds to pay for the expenses of producing an origami art exhibition, at The
New York Art Connection in Holbrook, NY. Expenses for the show include the
cost of art storage and transport (there are some big pieces), the labor and
material costs of art production and publicity for the show, overhead for
the gallery, including the video highlighting the gallery and exhibition.
The link for project as a whole with 3 different videos and a Flickr link is

Kickstarter is an organization that embraces crowd funding of art business
ventures and the vehicle through which that funding is managed. It helps
new businesses find capital to fund new projects, such as artistic shows, in
anticipation of future sales of their work. In return funders get
recognition on the backer list, a reward of their choice (e.g. a discount on
work). If the campaign goal is not reached, funders who have pledged money
for the project will not be charged the pledge amount. If the campaign is
successful, the amount will be charged when the campaign end date is
reached.

We hope you will appreciate the art shown in the video, and although the
exhibition is over, some of the works are still for sale and art lessons are
still taking place there. The Kickstarter campaign to raise $1000 in
funding is called "Solo Origami Art Exhibition of Lisa B. Corfman". Please
support my Kickstarter campaign!

Thank you!

Lisa B. Corfman
