A packager I have worked with closely in the past are looking for someone to
design 12 flat and fairly simple models of cartoon / animated characters for
a forthcoming book.
The designs will just need to be the basic shapes of the animated characters
which will be folded from squares pre-printed with the details of the
characters faces (and possibly arms / legs etc to keep the designs simple).
The art of this will be to get the level of detail right. Not too much, not
too little.
You won't get rich, but you will get paid. Copyright will belong to the
animation company and you will need to sign a non-disclosure agreement -
which is why I can't say who the commission is for. (So if you know or can
guess please don't say!)
