As you know, Robert Lang has started this very active conversation about the terms of the (1) folding design, the (2) person that designs it, the (3) folded object, the (4) person that folds it.
I really wonder if an agreement is possible and a corresponding change of the terms used in the real world. I would love to see that! I have two questions related with this discussion. I hope they'll be easy to answer and won't divert the discussion (I hope I'm using that word correctly). Is "creator" a common word used in the community to refer to the person that invents the folding design? Is "creation" a common word in the community for the folding design? I ask because I would say in the Spanish-speaking origami community those are the most common words used to refer to both phenomena (also hope I'm using this word correctly). I was surprised that only Ron has referred to "creator" in this conversation. That's why I wanted to know if they were less common terms in the English-speaking community. Thank you in advance.
