I got a last-minute request to do Star Wars origami at Princeton Public Library, Princeton, NJ on Saturday, 10/11/2014, 3-4 pm. It will close the library's Star Wars Reads celebration that day.
I'd welcome help from other folders -- I have no idea how many kids/parents will be there. I'll only teach 2 models: Tom Angleberger's simple Yoda and simple Darth Paper, but it would be great to show off more complex Star Wars models. Just show up at the library! This is part of a national library celebration: http://www.starwars.com/news/star-wars-reads-day-strikes-back-october-11-2014 Here are the links on a little hand-out I've made for the library, in case they are useful to anyone else: Where to find Star Wars origami on the internet http://origamiyoda.files.wordpress.com/2010/07/oy5.jpg <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPpkSELlzwU> (diagrams for simple Yoda, by Tom Angleberger) http://origamiyoda.files.wordpress.com/2009/10/yodainstructions.jpg (diagrams for more elaborate Yoda, by Tom Angleberger) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AAim4yV-EA <http://origamiyoda.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/dp1.jpg> (how to fold video, Darth Paper, by Ben and by Tom Angleberger) http://www.happymagpie.com/display.php?XWING&size=L&pg=1 (diagrams for Star Wars X-Wing, by Phil Schulz.
